Our objective is to create the best ingredients that we possibly can whilst working in harmony with the natural environment.
Keeping it local
We believe that every great regional dish is inspired by the ingredients that thrive locally. Our aim is to showcase what we believe are the best ingredients that can be grown in Northern Ireland.
Everything we sell is grown on our own farm, which is located on the northern shore of Belfast lough. As well as growing locally, we also strive to sell locally. You can find our produce in various markets, restaurants, and shops around County Antrim. Find out more about where to buy our produce.
Finally you can be assured both of the freshness and sustainability of our produce. Everything is picked and sold on demand. No long lorry trips and no sitting around in large refrigerated units losing flavour and nutrition.
Food for every season
There are some associations which are hard to forget. The first green tips of asparagus in spring, the smell of tomatoes on the vine in summer, spiced autumn squashes, or hearty root vegetables in winter.
The truth is that almost every vegetable has its own season when it is at its very best. We unapologetically refuse to grow or sell vegetables in the wrong seasons because, let's be honest, the flavour isn't there.
Luckily we are blessed with a mild climate that allows us to grow a changing variety of delicious vegetables throughout the year - you won't miss those summer vegetables once you have tried our winter ones!
Health & Wellbeing
Ultimately, we believe that what is good for nature is good for us. We follow organic principles and avoid the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides. In following nature-friendly practices, we can create food that is nutritionally rich and grown without the use of harmful chemicals that damage the environment and ourselves.
